The Commander's Path now takes you straight to a pirate, new commanders get extra fleet slots for their first days, the fleet send screen marks the ships a mission needs, and the game opens faster and recovers better from connection and login problems.

Commander's Path

  • Scout a Pirate and Salvage the Wreckage, and the onboarding scout and raid quests, now have a Go to pirate button instead of Go to galaxy. The map flies to the nearest Scout Party or Weak pirate near your homeworld (otherwise the nearest one), selects it and opens its panel. If none is nearby, it shows your home system; new pirate bases appear every 30 minutes.
  • First Strike keeps Open Scout Report (its Attack button launches the raid). With no scout report left, it takes you to the nearest pirate instead of the mailbox.
  • See Quest System.

Fleets

  • New commanders get 2 extra fleet slots for their first 3 days, so scouting, raiding and salvaging can run at the same time. The fleet list says the slots are temporary and when they end. Fleets already flying are not recalled when they end.
  • Scouting opens the fleet screen with probes already selected (your Spy Probe Count setting, at least 1, up to what the colony has), from a pirate or any other target, even without one-click scout.
  • The fleet send screen marks the ships a mission needs with a yellow border: Probes to scout, Recyclers or Advanced Recyclers to collect debris, Colony Ships to colonize, Orbital Refineries to harvest and Explorer Ships to survey.
  • See Fleet and Ships.

Quests

  • When an onboarding reward is ready to claim, a +N badge flies to the Quests button and its counter pops.
  • While the Commander's Path is active, the Quests button no longer shows the four onboarding category counters.
  • The onboarding progress bar and its reward chests now sit above the quest categories in the Onboarding tab, so they stay visible when the Commander's Path is collapsed. The Onboarding tab counter also counts chests that are ready.
  • Some quest rewards now show their name instead of an id (e.g. Epic Building Nano Boost on Growing Economy, Universal Nano Boost, Technology Boost).

Tutorial

  • Skip on the tutorial progress bar now asks for confirmation; Cancel keeps your current step.

Accounts

  • A suspended account now sees a notice with the end date and the reason instead of the game, with a Contact support button. When the suspension ends, the notice goes away.
  • An expired login no longer leaves the game unable to load screens; it signs in again in the background and carries on.

Improvements

  • The game opens faster, especially the very first time.
  • Loading the game tries once more on a brief connection error (common on VPNs or weak connections) before showing Retry.
  • The notification prompt uses the regular window style.

Fixes

  • Fixed: a chat message that failed to send disappeared from the input. It now stays there with an error. A mention is no longer added if it would push the message past 500 characters.
  • Fixed: deleting mail while a large delete was still running looked successful, but the mails came back. It now asks you to try again in a moment, and failed deletes show an error.
  • Fixed: the event, member and time filters in the Alliance Archive records list were not remembered.
  • Fixed: opening the Daily quests tab right after the tutorial could crash the game.
  • Fixed: the building list could crash while a colony was still loading.
