Fleet catalog value drives resource and ship-recovery budgets (~15% of sent fleet value before difficulty/depth/variance).
Probes and specialist hulls affect discovery odds; Science Vessels (Explorer ships) improve expedition quality and count lightly toward loss weight.
Explorer class boosts loot, success, and anomaly odds; Warlord is weaker on expedition loot.
Combat ships can appear in discovery pools; loss events scale with depth.
