Imperial Access is optional comfort for commanding your empire — extra build and research queue slots (everyone already has free slots), overview tools, shortcuts, and automation. It does not buy combat power, resources, or leaderboard rank.

One of the shortcuts: the number pad gets M (million) keys for ship and defense counts, and M, B (billion) and T (trillion) for resource amounts. Type 5 then M for 5,000,000; a value over the maximum is set to the maximum.

When picking ships for a fleet, each ship card has a MIN button next to MAX that sets that ship back to 0.

The active fleet list can be arranged in Settings → Fleet → Fleet list tabs: hide any of the Attack, Explore, Civil and Alliance tabs (All always stays), and add up to 3 tabs of your own that list only the missions you pick, with an optional name. The choices are saved to the account, so every device and platform shows the same tabs; without Access the list shows the standard tabs and keeps your choices for later.

Access levels

From Version 2.0.3, commanders who joined on or after 4 October and have never bought Imperial Access have two levels:

Level How to get it What it unlocks
Basic Access Imperial Credits from gameplay: 80 (1 week) or 300 (1 month). Also included in Imperial Access. Extra build & research queue slots (up to 15), 20 fleet templates, trade offer auto-renew, and the Imperial Overview tables: Summary, Fleets, Buildings, Defenses, Resources, Research
Imperial Access Quantum Shards: 30 (1 week) or 110 (1 month), or the Imperial Access Pass Everything in Basic Access, plus the Overview's export, Trade and Engines tabs and filter & sort tools, one-click missions, automation, mail filters and every other shortcut on this page

Basic Access and Imperial Access run on separate timers. Auto-renew with Imperial Credits renews Basic Access. The Resource Management onboarding bonus gives these commanders 3 days of Basic Access (3 days of Imperial Access on the original model).

Everyone else (joined before 4 October, or has ever bought Imperial Access) keeps the original model: Imperial Credits or Quantum Shards buy Imperial Access, and there is no Basic Access.

Free for everyone, with or without Access: 3 build and 3 research queue slots, and 5 fleet templates.

Features by level

Free (everyone):

  • 3 build queue slots per colony and 3 research queue slots
  • 5 Fleet templates
  • Battle simulator

Basic Access (Imperial Credits; also included in Imperial Access):

  • Build and research queues of up to 15 slots, started one after another automatically, and the 5x upgrade button
  • Imperial Overview tables: Summary, Fleets, Buildings, Defenses, Resources, Research
  • 20 Fleet templates (5 without Access)
  • Auto-renewing trade offers, and a 24-hour default listing time (48 hours without Access)

Imperial Access (everything in Basic Access, plus):

  • Imperial Overview: export (CSV / XLSX / XLS), the Trade and Engines tabs, and Filter & Sort (hide empty, hidden types, colony sort, moon layout)
  • One-click missions: spy, recycler, asteroid and gas harvest, expedition, alliance system Harvest / Survey, with One-Click Auto Warp Hop (Warp Gate)
  • Send recyclers straight from battle and scout reports and the mail swipe tray
  • Automation & defaults: default launch colony, expedition depth and decision, one-click templates, fleet resource keep, load slider, resource templates and collect presets
  • Mail & notifications: choose which mail types you receive
  • Colony tools: copy a colony's building layout, move buildings
  • Lists and shortcuts: activity icons on colony and alliance system pickers, fleet list sort and custom fleet list tabs, MIN button on ship cards, hide ship / defense types, total build cost, number-pad multiplier keys, player notes on the map, remembered galaxy zoom, hide Daily Quests from Realm 4, scout intel extras, warp gate "switch colony" prompt
  • Auto-renew of timed Access

On the original model (one level), Imperial Access includes everything above.

How to get Access

  • Imperial Credits — earn them from gameplay (quests), then buy a timed package in the Store (1 week or 1 month). With two levels, Credits buy Basic Access; otherwise they buy Imperial Access. Lifetime owners do not earn Imperial Credits.
  • Quantum Shards — buy shards in the Store, then spend them on timed Imperial Access packages (shard prices are set so packs are not months of Access at once).
  • Imperial Access Pass — a subscription (monthly, 3 months, or yearly) that grants Access for the period, Quantum Shards, ad-free play when ads are offered and 15% off common / rare / epic cosmetics. Pass holders on the original model (not Lifetime owners) can also buy building skins with Imperial Credits (common 300 / rare 350 / epic 400). Legendary and mythical cosmetics stay Quantum Shards only. Nothing in the Pass affects combat.

Lifetime Imperial Access owners keep permanent Access forever (and ad-free when ads ship). That offer is not on general sale. One final Founders-only window runs 4–21 October (see below); after it closes, Lifetime will not be offered again. Lifetime owners can still subscribe to the Access Pass for Pass-only perks (cosmetic discount and the Quantum Shards in each period) — they do not need the Pass for Access itself.

Founders — commanders who joined before 4 October receive a permanent lifetime ad-free bonus (ads start 3 October). From 4 October onward, new commanders join as regular players. Lifetime Access owners also stay ad-free permanently.

Founders Lifetime Imperial Access (4–21 October) — Lifetime Imperial Access reopens for Founders only for a single window, 4 October 00:00 UTC to 21 October 23:59 UTC, with a live countdown on the Store card. This is the last time it is offered — no extensions, and it will not return. It grants Imperial Access forever with no renewals and no expiry, but it does not include Quantum Shards, the 15% Pass cosmetic discount, or Imperial Credit building skins — those stay Pass-only.

Timed packages

Packages unlock Access for 7 or 30 days. Paying with Credits is the free-to-play path (Basic Access for commanders with two levels); paying with Shards is a faster top-up. Completing dailies steadily covers a meaningful share of Access time without spending.

Imperial Access Pass

Two auto-renewing options plus a monthly door:

  • Monthly — easy entry if you want to try the Pass.
  • 3 Months — best everyday value.
  • Yearly — best long-term rate for committed commanders.

Bought in the browser (see Devices and Sign-in), each Pass period gives 20% more Quantum Shards than in the stores.

Cancel anytime in the App Store or Google Play (a Pass bought in the browser: Manage subscription in the Store); Access lasts until the end of the paid period.

Fair play

Imperial Access and the Pass never change ship stats, research combat bonuses, resource production rates, or rankings. Cosmetics and comfort stay separate from war.
