== Overview ==
Boosts early expedition income and cadence.

== Purpose ==
Boosts early expedition income and cadence. Increases loot obtained from expedition missions. Increases expedition fleet slot by one for each two level.

== Strategic Notes ==
* Your first expedition needs '''level 2''': level 1 opens the easy nebula zones but gives no expedition slot yet. The research screen shows your slots and the progress to the next one.
* A nebula zone's panel lists your expedition slots (used / total). Without a free slot, or below the zone's Expedition Basics level, '''Explore''' is greyed out with a note: during Act I and Act II of the Commander's Path it tells you to follow the Path (its building and research steps lead to Expedition Basics); later it names the level for your next slot, with a button to the research. Gas details and Harvest Gas are hidden until Act II is done.
* Invest when the listed requirements fit your current [[Research Lab]] level and specialization path.
* Effects scale per level and apply empire-wide in '''Per Regna'''.

Overview

Boosts early expedition income and cadence.

Purpose

Boosts early expedition income and cadence. Increases loot obtained from expedition missions. Increases expedition fleet slot by one for each two level.

Strategic Notes

  • Your first expedition needs level 2: level 1 opens the easy nebula zones but gives no expedition slot yet. The research screen shows your slots and the progress to the next one.
  • A nebula zone's panel lists your expedition slots (used / total). Without a free slot, or below the zone's Expedition Basics level, Explore is greyed out with a note: during Act I and Act II of the Commander's Path it tells you to follow the Path (its building and research steps lead to Expedition Basics); later it names the level for your next slot, with a button to the research. Gas details and Harvest Gas are hidden until Act II is done.
  • Invest when the listed requirements fit your current Research Lab level and specialization path.
  • Effects scale per level and apply empire-wide in Per Regna.
