Share reports to any chat, a 48-hour grace timer instead of a hard territory cap, Bastion limits that no longer fail a won siege, Explorer ship finds that match your fleet, retaliation windows that survive a recall, warning and suspension mails, siege countdowns in the Territories tab, grouped ship counts, paste and F11 on web, and fixes for unseen attacks on held Wakehearts and station targets, pop-up lists that did not scroll, typing a new private message on web and the wrong season week on events.

Changes

  • Chat: the Share with Alliance button on scout, battle and expedition reports becomes Share, with a list of chats: alliance chat, the Diplomacy chat of each allied alliance, open FCS rallies you are in, world chat and players you recently messaged. Scout reports cannot be shared to world chat, since they show another commander's resources and defences; in world chat and private messages the report is shared without your fleet and colony ids. A shared report shows a summary in chat; Expand shows the full report (in world chat and private messages it loads when you tap it) and Save copies it into your mail from any chat. Reports sent in private messages now show as a report card. Older apps still expand reports shared in alliance, diplomacy and FCS chat; in world chat they show only the summary, and a report sent to them in a private message looks like code. This is switched on after release.
  • Territory Siege: holding the maximum of a Bastion type (3 War, 2 Expansion, 8 Embassy) no longer stops your alliance from Contesting or taking a hostile Bastion of that type. Before, a siege could be won on its final stage and still end as Siege Failed with a 24-hour re-contest cooldown. A Bastion taken while you are at that type's limit becomes a plain Division: its Bastion main turns into a Division Center at the same level, it adds no extra territory cap and its attached Divisions stay with the previous owner. The System Conquered mail says when this happens. Below the limit nothing changes: a captured Bastion still brings its whole cluster.
  • Alliance Territory: the territory cap no longer blocks attacks, Contests or Takeovers, so an alliance at its cap can keep fighting hostile alliances. When an alliance goes over its cap (by conquering, or by losing a Bastion's extra capacity), every member gets a mail and the alliance has 48 hours to get back under it: research Territorial Expansion or abandon systems. If it is still over when the time runs out, its most recently conquered systems are disbanded to neutral space, newest first, until it fits. The Headquarters is never disbanded; a disbanded Bastion takes its attached Divisions.
  • Alliance Territory: two neighbouring systems freshly taken away from your territory can now found a Bastion. Before, each counted the other as your territory, so only a Division Center could be built (not linked to any cluster, so its Warp Gate never worked). A neighbour you have not built on, and that is not connected to your HQ or a Bastion, no longer counts: either system can found the Bastion and the other then becomes its Division. A Division Center now needs a built or connected neighbour. Bastion placement errors show readable text, and a refused Expansion says how far the nearest at-war territory is and how far it must be (6 hexes).
  • Territory Siege: the Alliance β†’ Territories tab marks each Contested or Vulnerable system with a tag and a live countdown (window opens in / closes in), matching the Alliance Systems list.
  • Explorer: when an Explorer's expedition finds ships, each ship type found has a 95% chance to be one of the ship types the fleet was sent with; the other 5% come from the regular random pool. Send the ships you want more of. Colony Ships, Recyclers, Advanced Recyclers, Planetary Harvesters, Support Vessels and Science Vessels are still never recovered, and the amount found is unchanged. Other classes are unchanged.
  • Fleet Combat: recalling an attack fleet sent at a player no longer escapes the PvP retaliation window. If it flew for at least 2 minutes, its ships sit outside hangar protection for the usual 2–24 hours when it docks, the same as after a fight. Attacks on inactive players, pirates and Riftwake are unchanged and open no window.
  • Riftwake Incursion: Pay War Guild levy in Riftwake Command asks for confirmation before the levy leaves the alliance vault, so a stray tap no longer pays it. The levy is not refunded.
  • Alliances: each pending application in Members β†’ Applications has a chat button that opens a private message with the applicant, so officers can talk to them before approving or rejecting.
  • Rules and Fair Play: the harassment rule covers players, not only alliance systems. Scouting the same commanders' colonies and moons again and again, day and night, without attacking them is harassment, even during a war. Scout a target when you plan to attack it.
  • Moderation: moderators can send a warning that arrives as an important in-game mail in your language, explaining the rule that was broken (harassment, offensive language, automated play or bug exploitation) and that a suspension follows if it continues. A suspension for harassment also sends a mail, and the suspension screen shows Reason: harassing other commanders.
  • Ship and defense counts: the fleet selector (selected and available ships, ships selected, Fleet Command fleets), Scrap defenses and fleet scan results use digit grouping (1,234,567). With Imperial Access, Settings β†’ Fleet β†’ Compact ship and defense counts shows them as 1.2m instead on the ship and defense cards and in fleet scan results (saved on this device, off by default).
  • Number pad: the Shipyard, Defense Yard and galaxy coordinate search pads no longer show the tall Enter key, since their Build / Go To button sits right below the pad. On desktop the Enter key on your keyboard still builds or jumps there. The fleet, simulator, template and settings pads keep their Enter key.
  • Web and Steam: Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on Mac) pastes a number into the open number pad (ship and defense quantities, fleet ship counts, galaxy coordinates). Separators such as "1,234,567" and short forms such as "1.5M" or "2B" are understood; the value is capped at the maximum, like the M / B / T keys.
  • Web: F11 turns the game's full screen on and off in the browser, also on Mac browsers where F11 is not the full-screen key; the browser's own full screen still works. It is listed in the Shortcuts panel (?). The Steam app already had it.
  • Web and Steam: dialogs opened from a window (trade offers, alliance notes, Imperial Access prompts, profiles and so on) no longer stretch to 90% of a wide screen. They are at most as wide as a side window (560 px by default), and the one-click expedition template picker at most 480 px. Phones and tablets are unchanged.

Fixes

  • Fleet Detection: attacks and probes heading to a target you defend but do not own now show up in the Fleet List (the fleet button turns red) and send the attack and probe pushes: a Riftwake Wakeheart your alliance holds (every member of the holding alliance), and any colony where you have a station fleet (an alliance-mate's colony, a diplomatic ally's system center, or a Wakeheart you reinforce as an ally). The threat's Reinforce button sends a station fleet there. Fleets from your own alliance are never shown as threats.
  • Territory Siege: the Takeover window mails showed the stages already cleared ("stage 1/2" while the final stage was open), so a capture looked like it happened early. They now name the open stage ("stage 2 of 2", "stage 3 of 3" for a Bastion root), say the Contest counts as stage 1, and say ownership changes only when the final stage is cleared.
  • Pop-ups: a list in a pop-up opened from another window could run past the bottom and not scroll, such as From my colonies in the combat simulator with many colonies (also its fleet, scout report and territory lists). Pop-ups now keep their list inside their height so it scrolls.
  • Web and Steam: clicking the message box of a New Message (and the alliance application message) lost the focus right away, so nothing could be typed. The box now keeps the focus.
  • Events: the event screen could show the wrong season week, with the Expedition and Fleet Commander weeks of a league season reading "Week 1". Each week's event now keeps the season week it was scheduled for. Only the label was wrong; the events that ran followed the rotation.
