View source for Alliance Power

Alliance Power
Alliance Power measures how far your alliance has invested in shared infrastructure — not how full the vault is today. It ranks alliances on a fleet-title ladder and sets the weekly Wakeheart contest fund cost.

An alliance with no territory has no Alliance Power and cannot take part in Riftwake (Siphon Spines or Wakeheart). Territory is what unlocks alliance buildings, the vault, and event eligibility.

How power is calculated
Alliance Power uses the same resource weights as personal empire score, applied to lifetime alliance spend:

# Sum catalog costs for all alliance buildings on your territory colonies (Headquarters, Divisions, Bastions) and for all completed alliance research levels.
# Weight each resource: steel 1, quartz 1.5, gas 2, silicium 3, iridium 3.5, elerium 4 (energy does not count).
# Convert with
ceil(weighted total / 1000)
.

Unlike personal building / research score, Alliance Power is not soft-capped — deep territory empires keep climbing.

Example. Two alliances can both sit on huge vaults; the one that has poured steel and elerium into HQ vaults, extractors, and Territorial Expansion will show higher Alliance Power. Dumping or emptying the vault does not change the title.

Fleet titles
Titles unlock at fixed power thresholds. Your alliance keeps a title until it crosses the next threshold (or loses all territory and becomes ineligible).

Titles are prestige and fee bands — they are separate from Regnal Honors (server-wide buff titles the Realmwarden assigns).

What power is not
* Not vault balance. A rich idle vault does not raise power; spent buildings and research do.
* Not member empire score sum. Alliance leaderboards by member score remain a different ranking — see Alliances → Leaderboards.
* Not a combat buff. Power does not add attack or defense; it classifies investment and Wakeheart entry cost.

Riftwake contest fund
Before Wakeheart attacks, the alliance Leader or Deputy pays a one-time weekly fund from the vault. The basket scales with your fleet title (steel, quartz, iridium, silicium, and elerium — not gas). Siphon Spine clears stay free for territory alliances.
